D.K.G has a complete set of advanced management scheme and technical skills based on the IS09001 requirements and also have an independent Quality Control Department to maintain the high standards of their products. Raw materials are purchased exclusively from quality-assured suppliers to maintain a high standard. Consequently, their products have obtained the Europe ECE43R, the U.S. DOT-637, the China CCC and the South Africa SABS Standards.
Tempered glass with complicated curvature has always been a challenge for auto glass manufacturers. Over the years, D.K.G. has dedicated many hours of research to developing innovative production techniques for tempered glass manufacturing. The fully computerised state-of-the-art tempered glass machine co-designed by D.K.G has fine-tuned the precision of bending and cooling processes, improving the rear windscreen’s optical and physical quality.
D.K.G. is also heavily involved in supplying quality safety glazing for public transportation vehicles and has been awarded the OEM glazing contract for supplying Wrightbus Gemini busses, the bestselling double-decker busses in the world.
D.K.G. also supplies windscreens to Hong Kong Railways, the first generation already in service. The second generation windscreen can withstand the impact of a 1kg metal cube at the speed of 300km/h with no glass debris found inside the train. D.K.G. aims to have these installed and in service by the second quarter of 2015.
